65 rear door bumpers
looking for a source for the rear door/tailgate bumpers for a 1965 Suburban.

Steele Rubber has the angled metal cored rubber coated ones (left in pic). the other one (right in pic) looks like the plastic plug that is in the pillar, i've never seen those anywhere.
I took my old ones that had no rubber left on them and dipped them in Plastic-dip, that stuff for coating tools handles. I did one layer , let it dry then did a second layer to get the right thickness. it held up fairly well for about 10 years.

OK, angled on order. My plugs have no rubber left. How thick a dip layer on the others?

I've always thought the rectangular thing was just a plug, but i see now it is a bumper. I have never had mine out, but it appears to just be plastic, no rubber coating.
