LED dash cluster bulbs.
Bought some LED bulbs for my cluster. Getting old sucks so need to improve the gauge lights. Reached under the dash & changed a couple but can’t get them to work. One flickered a couple times. Anyone else have this trouble? Possibly need to replace the printed circuit board and bulb holders? I’m going to pull the cluster & clean the contacts etc, just thought someone might have some tips.

Re: LED dash cluster bulbs.
Two things: Most LEDs are not dimmable. 1) Make sure the headlight switch isn’t partial rotated to dim the dash lights. Also dirty contacts it the headlight switch rheostat for the dash lights may cause poor power to the dash. 2) LEDs are single polarity, if they don’t light up. Pull the LED, rotate 180 degrees and reinsert.
You can also check each bulb socket with a known good incandescent bulb.
