Sport Seats

Thinking of replacing my bench with sport type buckets. Looking at Sparco Torino 2 seats, or any other thoughts. Something nice that is not too heavy.

Any pics of something like this?

I really didnt want to spend that much on buckets so I found a pair of del sol buckets that are pretty sporty looking. There is a pic through the link in my sig. Arent the sparco seats like $500 pair?

Yes, the Sparcos are like $600+ per pair. I like the look of yours, in fact the entire truck looks terrific, is del sol a brand name?

And, how comfortable, fit, etc. are they?

I am working on something for the street / strip, so it would be nice to save a little weight over the bench. Plus, right now my B&M shifter is too far forward due to bench.

Working towards something like yours, but far away from that now, man your truck is excellent.

Thanks for the compliments. I guess I should have clarified, the seats are from a honda civic del sol. I think they are awesome they are a little narrrow withou a good size console but I like mine that way (where else would I put my cupholder ) $600 is more than I would pay I found these for $150.

I work at an auto repair facility, part time and we just put a set of black simulated leather buckets in a 66 chevelle. Believe it or not we got them from PepBoys for $130 a peice and they are sweet. They even have provisions for a five point harness. If you know someone at a garage that can order them for you wholesale...DO IT! But in the mean time, go check em' out.

Do you have a brand name or part number for those seats?

They are reclining and on the stock brackets but I think they are out of a '91 k5. I bought them from another board member jlance (great guy to deal with) and he didnt know for sure. I had enough of the original seats not reclining after about a week. I might have these for sale in a few weeks if your interested.
