ground wire
my 69 gmc pickup truck has been apart for yrs, side bed marker lamp, i find no screw hole for it, where do these go?

I think it’s just a little above or a little below the opening. I’m pretty sure it’s below. If nobody answers today I’ll go take mine out and take a picture.

i see a star washer mark so i didnt thing it went to the lamp mounting screw. i'll look alittle harder, cant see anymore lol

I wondered the same thing when I replaced the box on my truck.
Here is a picture I took of a stock truck. I just drilled a hole and added a new screw and a star washer if you like. |

I believe for 69 it was just a reflector (no light) as standard. I believe a working light was optional, but thought that was not until 70. Maybe that is why there is no ground mounting found.
