Saddle scroll seat covers

I am having a hard time finding saddle front and rear seat covers with the scroll pattern. All I have been able to find is dark saddle.

Does anyone know where I can find these or are there any vendors that have these? I know there’s about a six month wait on getting them but I don’t want to order the wrong color.

Thanks

Have you tried Cars Inc? They will send samples.

I have not found them on their website but I did send them an email with my request. I know we have a couple of Forum members that sell seat covers. I’m hoping one of them sees my post.

Re: Saddle scroll seat covers

They don’t show a lot on their website but I called them and they are pretty knowledgeable and very helpful.

Re: Saddle scroll seat covers

Pretty sure USA1 Industries does. Look in the 67-72 section of the seat covers

Re: Saddle scroll seat covers

This is what I am looking for. I have emails and calls into a few distributors. A couple are sending me samples. They’re telling me it is dark shadow but all the dark saddle pictures I have seen are darker than what I have.

Re: Saddle scroll seat covers

Wait till you see the sample to judge. Pictures, as you know, can look "off". What year are you trying to match?

SPID says saddle and sandlewood seems too light? And it’s a 1972?

I just want to give everyone a little bit more information. I ordered a set of the dark saddle seat covers from a Forum vendor that is treated me very well with many purchases. I wanted to make sure what was being ordered was the scroll pattern and not the standard seat. He sent me pictures of the dark saddle which look a lot darker than my interior. I sent him pictures of my seats, the same pictures that I have posted in this thread. He agreed that the pictures definitely look different and has contacted PUI and they’re sending me a sample. While waiting for the sample I wanted to see if anyone else had any other options. I will post pictures of the sample against my seat when it arrives. In the future it may also help others looking for the same seat covers.

With all that being said I am still open to any suggestions if anyone has more information.

Thanks again for everyone trying to help. It is appreciated and what makes this Forum the best for our trucks!

You can get samples from USA1 Industries also. That is where the color chart came from, that I posted above.
SMS Fabrics is usually the go to place for the older style fabrics.

With the backorder of materials and parts I try to plan six months ahead as best I can. I have been in contact with SMS fabric as I will eventually want to get a more modern reclining seat and have it upholstered like the originals and will need to get the material from SMS fabrics. But that could be a year down the line so since it’s a six month wait just for seat covers for the stock sheets I am trying to get an order placed so when my vehicle is out of paint and body work I can put seats in and drive it for the time being..

I will reach out to USA1 industries but that color chart does not show any 1972 colors. The previous years only had a single scroll in the middle of the seat and the 1972 seats had two scrolls. I have been learning all of this stuff in the last month.

Re: Saddle scroll seat covers

I don't see the correct '72 color here. I had C.A.R.S make me houndstooth bucket seat cover before reproductions existed. They were spot on. And I always thought 71 and 72 were the same. I still have the slightly worn Cheyenne cover from the '71 Custom Camper I had. Definitely darker than the samples shown, and to my eye the same as '72. No where near anything close to tan. The seat in my '72 is the one out of that '71 that has the cover I bought from Gary Terry (Cheyenne Superman) in '91. Looks the same shade as the '72 pieces. That dash pad is N.O.S.
