WTB 292 motor mounts

I’m trying to track down some passenger side 292 motor mounts and frame perches. If anyone has some or know where I might find them it would be a huge help.

Thx,

Man I appreciate it, but I think I might be set on the mounts. I’ll attach a pic of what is currently on the engine. Let me know if what you have is the same.

Yep, I’ll need those too. But I’m probably months away from needing them. I pulled the head off the 292 today. No bueno……I’ll be surprised if the engine can be salvaged.

Re: WTB 292 motor mounts

I have a 292 core out of a dump truck. I am just outside of Charlotte if you are up this way we can pull the pan and see if it is good was supposed to be running when it was pulled but you now that goes. I paid 200 will pass it along for that as my block was good.

Those look great! Definitely a nice pair, but unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to do that right now. Thx for for the pics though, gives me motivation!

That's a big improvement just getting it cleaned up. I was in an old speed shop this summer and sitting against the wall was an NOS 292 bare block. It has an $800.00 price tag on it, stuff is still out there.

Re: WTB 292 motor mounts

Dropped it at the machine shop this morning for cleaning and check for cracks. He wasn’t at all worried about it being salvageable. Decided to go ahead and have it checked. It’s definitely not cost effective….but none of my hobbies are!

Still on the hunt for 292 engine frame mounts. Got my block checked and no cracks! It needs 2 sleeves and bored, but it can be salvaged.
