Re: Inner fender to firewall bracket passenger side
These trucks do not have a bracket on the right hand side. The bracket is for the park brake cross arm to mount on on the left side.

Re: Inner fender to firewall bracket passenger side
Inner fender (passenger side) bolts directly to the firewall slope...Jim

Re: Inner fender to firewall bracket passenger side
Thanks guys got it figured out now..
Spent 2 hours looking for that non-existent bracket. It's more fun putting it back together when you didn't take it apart...

Re: Inner fender to firewall bracket passenger side
haha, too funny comment about putting it back together blind. reminds me of my son who came home with a complete s10 4x4 with a v8 swap. it was totally dissassembled. even the dash cluster was apart. to make it even more fun there were some duplicate parts, like wiring harnesses, thrown in for good measure. we got it back together and he drove it for a few years till baby came along. he learned a lot about tagging and bagging stuff when you take things apart, memory is good but real short. lol.
an assembly manual may be a good investment if you have lots of parts left to figure out. |

Re: Inner fender to firewall bracket passenger side
True enough about the memory.,
When I did my first LS swap on a 62 c10 I read all I could find and it turned out good.. Next came my 6.0 LS swap into a K10...different animal as K member was not LS friendly.. but I documented everything on my computer and in a binder. Now this one will be a little different as it's a DBW 2005 LS 4.8..thank God for Lt1swap.com
