My first Blazer

I'm excited to say I bought this a week ago, and it was only 20 minutes away. Runs and drives but has some rust, which has been repaired with duct tape in some places. Big hole in the dash, lots of speakers, and a few oil leaks to address.

Luckily the original seat brackets are still installed and the original rear seat was included.

I've never had a Blazer before, but have wanted one for several years. Feel like I got a pretty good deal on this one. My plan is to put in some original bucket seats and drive it at is. This will be second in line behind a K20 I'm restoring first. Eventually, I want to take it back to factory stock.

She's not much to look at, but here are some pics!

Re: My first Blazer

Removed some carpet today to keep things dried out. Rust on the rear and around tubs. Center floor pretty nice.

You can tell they were painting the gravel guards on the floor.

Re: My first Blazer

That's exciting. It looks like you have a pretty good Blazer as a starting point.
