Picked up a 72 C10

Hello from Grays Creek NC

Picked up this 72 C10 this summer and have been working to get it in a little better shape.

It came with a 90's bed and a 69/70 hood and grill, SBC 350/TH350.

It was in pretty bad shape when I got it and have been doing a little each month when I get paid.

So far I have replaced all the brakes with new disks and rotors and SS brake lines. Added a March pully system, all new shocks, carpet, seat cover, steering wheel, radio, kick panel speakers, Lokar floor shifter, Dakota Digital HDX silver gauges, Truck-lite LED headlights with a HD headlight harness, dash pad, seat belts, door and window seals, new floor pans and rockers, wheels and tires, Summit ceramic long tube headers with an American thunder flowmanster exhaust system.

Parts in the garage that I still need to install are a Holly sniper EFI, all six new windows, Trique Manufacturing Door Latch Assemblies, new 72 window regulators, CPP 3/5 springs, shock relocators and adjustable pan hard bar.

Before anyone asks, I have a brand new step side bed ordered that should be here in a couple weeks. The SS bed bolt kit already arrived.
I do need to decide on a wood bed vs Aluminum bed and get that ordered. I did get new 1955 LED tail lights since I'm not a fan of the larger gen 2 tail lights, and I need to decide on bumper vs roll pan.

Also need the TH 350 rebuilt, thinking of ordering a new one and rebuilding the current as a spare.
And soon I need to order an AC/HEAT unit, leaning towards Old Air right now.

I'm retired Army of 22yrs and have just been working on this as something to do, a little here and there. I'm sure I've added more but too many little things to list.
