As you can probably see I am breaking a few of the originality rules for appearance sake. The grill borrows things from the 68s but that is because I like the look. I am just trying to find something that looks original even though it may have not been original. I had heard that white caps were not available but I traded for a very nice set of 69-72 1/2 ton caps that someone else had already powder coated white, so once again I am trying to use what I have. I figure I should be able to cut the holes for the front caps myself although I would be glad to have it done by someone who really knows what they are doing. Thanks again for your help and opinion.
BTW this truck was originally red, and not a two-tone. At least I did the correct 67 two-tone paint job, but the original GM red did not turn me on, and since I stripped the whole truck inside and out I decided to change the color. Don't tell anyone.

Ha ha - you're secret is safe with me georgie!! You can't go wrong - whatever you choose will look real nice on this truck.
