Just got a new catalog from Impala Bob's in Arizona. Anyone heard of them?

very nice catalog. one thing got my attention is all the stereo stuff he has. very nice and in color but dont know about the service?

I bought some small parts from him a couple of years ago before I started visiting this board much. Everything went fine.

I got the catalog in the mail on Saturday...i wonder how they knew i had a 67-72??? Anyway, i like it being full color. The prices on the emblems look pretty good, but you can get sheetmetal cheaper through GMC Paul, and the mechanical section seemed pretty overpriced too....

they have been selling parts for impalas for years..... i dont know i dont like buying parts from someone that just added on to what models they sell to make more $$$$
I like to buy from people that specailize in 67-72s,

i got one today, but it come in my dads name, so im guessing they sent them to the title owners name (my 71 2wd is in my dads name)

Interesting...I got one from them back in 2000 I think, foolishly gave it to another truck owner and have never seen another. Even after I movewd and called asking for one, nothing.
I did however recieve a CPP Classics Performace Products catalog today...looks like suspension and brakes mostly. Ain't looked through it yet...I'll let y'all know what I think of it when I get around to opening it. I might be takin a long tripo tomorow at work...perfect time to read it. |

I think truck parts are an after thought for places like Impala Bob's. You can get better pricing and service from the folks who advertise and participate on this site. I mean, how many of these "car and truck" vendors can answer questions on this site as well as KingParts and GMCPauls? And, if they sell things like front disc brake kits, I'll bet they use passenger car rotors with the smaller 5x4-3/4 lug patterns. I even noticed that one of them (Year One, I think) listed a part number for front control arm bushings. 67-72 C-10s don't have front control arm bushings!
