Rebuilder of door handle remotes???
Does anyone know of a rebuilder of door handle remotes?
I want to rebuild my driver door one because these 67 ones are HARD to find.

They are spot welded together and the internal springs are not available as far as I know. I have drilled a couple of them out to see how they were put together but never went any farther with them. If a person was real handy and had a spring bender I'm sure the springs could be made but I just didn't want to put that much time in them..... LockDoc

what are these remotes that you guys are talking about? I have a '69 and i'm not aware of any type of remote.
