Braunschweiger Registered User Join Date: Aug 2020 Location: Braunschweig, Lower Saxony, Germany Posts: 868	Re: A '62 has to get back on the road Now the engine was resealed, the oil pan got a good silicone seal, and I was able to see what kind of engine it is, it has 4 bolt main bearings and 4" bore, block casting number is 3970010, not that bad. I guess times on a block of trucks I couldn't identify the heads, I couldn't find the number 3998981.
