Hello from NM
Good morning and hello fro northern New Mexico! I have learned so much from all the postings and information I have found here on this website.
In August 2021 I bought a 69 3/4 ton 4x4 and i am slowly aquiring parts (original as much as I can) and replacing them to make it what I want. I have replaced the hood, both doors, seat, passenger side bedside, tailgate, replaced the cab and radiator mounting bushings, rebuilt the Q-jet and converted to HEI.and some of the wiring. I also rattle can primed to outside to make it all match till I can get a real paint job. Next is to get the rockers, partial floor, cab supports and cab corners replaced, get rid of the idiot light guage cluster and replace with guages, replace the inner fenders, install the heater core I hade rebuilt, replace fuse block and wiring, install the interior components and then some paint. I'm sure theres more to list but one step at a time. Anyway, I am so glad to have been approved and accepted on here and I have already met some cool people that are always willing to help. I hope I can pass it on to others also. Have a blessed day!😁 Having a hard time uploading pics. Will try again later.... Last edited by 69Penka; 03-13-2022 at 06:20 PM. |

Re: Hello from NM
Welcome to the forum. About posting pictures this is what works for me. Depending on your phone and/or computer there's different ways to upload pictures. What I do is email the picture (one at a time, so its not so confusing) to my computer. Then click on the picture in the e-mail and choose download. Name the picture so you can find it in your computer. If several, I write them on a post a note. I normally Edit/crop the picture now. That helps them not flip when you post them to the forum. Now you are ready to upload picture. So start your thread or comment to the thread. Click on attachments (The Paper clip) Then the pop-up screen will come up to (choose file). Pick from the one (Or Ones) you just named. Then once you get (one or all five) selected push the upload button. Then when you click the attachment again, you can pick the pictures one at a time or all five at once. Hope this helps.

Re: Hello from NM
Thanks for the guidance Getter-Done. I will try on my PC. I was trying to upload them on my phone, plus I think the files might be too big.
Thanks for the welcome message DeadheadNM and the Rocknrod! I'm from the Espaņola area. Last edited by 69Penka; 03-13-2022 at 03:49 PM. |

Re: Hello from NM
Welcome! Sounds like a good project.
Another possibility on the pictures issue is trying to upload more than one picture at a time. You can attach up to 5 pictures per post, but have to hit the upload button 5 times for that one post
