I just rebuilt the front end on my '86 Silverado over Christmas. I used Swervin's guide that is listed in Gerardo's post and it was a big help. It is a lot of work, though.

I bought Moog parts locally. They were quite expensive, but are supposed to be the best. I bought my drop spindles and springs from www.performancesuspension.com, and I was happy with the price and the service.

Most of the guys around here recommend the urethane bushings for everything, but I prefer the rubber ones. The urethane probably last longer, and they improve the handling, but the ride is harsh and they sometimes have problems with squeaking. You might want to ask around before you make that decision.
