Woohooo made it!
Long time listener, first time poster When i finally decided to create myself an account, registration was closed.
So, after registration was opened again I got my new account flagged as Spam (twice), Liz came to the rescue thanks again. Located in The Netherlands, and about 2.5 years ago bought a 1972 C20 Custom Deluxe Suburban. Done lots and lots to get it half drive-able, though still a long way to go including lots of body cancer. Though I suppose I should create a build thread.... And of course a picture.... |

Re: Woohooo made it!
Thanks, it is originally olive green, which was then painted some horrible brown (not all to well) then someone thought spray can black would be better which was followed by a horrible roller spray can job of two tone white and blue. All of which is flaking off at various colour levels
So the plan is while doing the body work to knock it all back and to go to a teal kind of colour, also with the two tone white. |

The teal sounds like a great option!

Re: Woohooo made it!
Welcome to the forum! It's always cool to me to see what guys over on the continent are building. Generally, our trucks are giant for the roads. Curious how you got interested in US/Canadian trucks? Anyway, looks like you've already gotten your Suburban in good shape. And that picture has me thinking about renovating my shop and adding brick walls, skylights, and a conference table, haha.
