If you have the OEM clutch linkage, not sure the mid length Chevelle headers will work. Anybody verify that?
Headers suck on a 2 wheel drive truck as they hang too low. If I was building a truck for the street (I know yours is already together…) I would run the V8 in the 6 cylinder position and use 4x4 headers which don’t hang near as low, routing the pipes above the trans crossmember and not below then routing through the trailing arm crossmember rather than underneath. And C3 Corvette headers are possibly the same as the 4x4 headers. With that in mind, the 2 1/2” Corvette manifolds are always a good choice. Just takes a GOOD muffler guy to make the connections.
