The brakes are redone.
The EBC pads and rotors are installed. I am breaking them in easy.
My first impressions are.... I like them. With the windows on the truck rolled down, you can hear the pads as they move over the slots and dimples on the rotors. (sounds like the brakes on my motorcycles). They stop pretty good. There is no vibration, and no squeal. The brake pedal feel is getting firmer as the pads break in. I would still like a firmer feel on the brake petal, (it still seems like there is a lot of petal travel before anything really happens) but I may need to invest in a master cylinder with a larger bore to get that. ssbrake corp sells a replacement master cylinder with an inch and a quarter bore, but they want over $300.00. That seems a little expensive. |
