Maybe check your temperature sending unit. I believe there're two. On a different, more computerized vehicle, I've had it nearly not start because it couldn't cope with not having that information. Sometimes the computer doesn't guess well. Also, if you don't have a three wire oxygen sensor you might want to switch to that. Especially if you have headers. It takes a little while for the sensor to get warm enough to read correctly. And sometimes headers never get warm enough, depending where the bung is placed. The three wire will warm up the sensor electrically and give you good readings right off the bat. Good luck man, I hope you get it figured out! Let us know.
