Okay, Josh...I got it.

Holy crap! Obviously my avatar has violated some sort of policy. Instead of getting a PM to warn me about it, someone in an ADMIN position keeps replacing my avatar. But, hey, it's your board and I love being a member. It just gets under my skin a little. I will give you this much, at least you are administering your site. Most sites never have updates or changes made. I commend you for staying on top of things. Keep up the good work and thanks for hosting a noteworthy board!

That's just not right! Since I didn't get to see it, could you send me a copy (lifesize) so I can be a fair judge?

Sure, you can PM me an address and I will send you the edited version that I was using as an avatar, and the uncut one that is bigger. Don't get me wrong, I am not at all 'mad' at Josh....he has to maintain boundries and limits, but PM me first with the warning.

For those of you who have requested the avatar and the unedited original, they are in route to your e-mail addresses.

i think the "WARNING" is pretty well listed in the forum guidelines and rules i think Josh has it spelled out in a short concise easy to understand statement of what he expects of board members

I get that, but there were several other members that had much worse "animated" avatars, so I assumed mine was tame in comparison. That was this morning, and I am way over it now and enjoying the board as it is right now.

I NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND THAT MENTALITY OF SO & SO s DUEING THIS TO BREAK THE RULES , SO I FIGURED IT WOULD BE O-K IF I DID TOO. WHY TRY & PUSH THE BOUNDRIES TO THE LIMIT & FORCE JOSH TO STEP IN & POLICE THE BOARDS RULES??? HOW LONG DO YOU FIGURE JOSH WILL PUT UP WITH ALL THE B/S BEFORE HE DECIDES ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, & SHUTS THIS BOARD DOWN ALTOGETHER???? IF ANYONE FEELS THAT THEY CAN'T ABIDE BY THE RULES, HOW ABOUT GOING SOMEPLACE ELSE, SO THEY DON'T TAKE SOMETHING FROM ME?? JOHN

MAN John!!! I always love ready your no bullsh!t replies I agree, don't make a big deal out of it. This is a family board not just a mans place to visit. As much as some members may enjoy looking at the scantily clad chick pics, some of us don't want our 6 year old sons saying " DAD GO BACK UP THERE!!! I wanna see something"

John,
I was never intentionally trying to take anything away from you as an individual. I wasn't even trying to push any buttons. It's in the past. I was simply using the avatars that were already in place as a "go-by" to base mine on. If we have rules, someone has to police them. Josh does a wonderful job at it, too. No doubt about it. I have gone through most of the 440+ pages of members and I see several that have the "replacement" avatar that Josh used on me, and several that are still just outside the limit. I am not going to say, 'Hey Josh, look at so-and-so's avatar, because it is still there and it offends me.' That's not my style. I know that there are those that are on both sides of the fence, because I have gotten my share of PM requests for the unedited version of the avatar, and others that believe I was trying to get past security. That's fine. If everyone agreed all of the time, this would be a stupid world. I thank you for your opinion. Surely Josh would just ban me and not punish everyone if it were a violation of that severity, but all seems well today and life goes on. Sorry for the long message. I have changed my avatar to a family-friendly one (except for the slightest animated explosion at the end) and I can live with that. I would not hesitate to let my three yr old daughter sit with me and look at all the trucks....she's already into the old ones!

I C Both Point Of Views, I'm A Christian Guy And I Beleive In Giving A
Apology If I Have Done Wrong, Josh Came Down Hard On Me Saying I
Was Trying To Make A Big Deal Out Of It, That Was His Perception &
If I Was In His Shoes I Might Have Perceived It The Same Way, We All
Take For Granted That He Has Major Decisions To Make Day In And
Day Out On What Reply's, Subject Matter, Attitudes, Etc... Are Out
Or In Tolerance, I Support His Decsisions 100%, I May Not Always
Agree, But Then Again I Can't Find Another Board That Even Comes
Close To Comparing With The One He Has Started, Kudos 2 You J.

Just put your truck on the Avatar! If I can't place a face, at least I can place the truck You may not know what I really look like, but you know I'm the dude with a black stepside. She's got all the curves I need (except for my wife of course.)

I guess I must look like some guy from an obscure '80s TV show...
