Any cheap power tricks you guys know of?

I have a 3.8 series one buick engine with Sequential Fuel Injection. What are some cheap, easy tricks that I can do to make it a little quicker? I know this probably isn't the right place to ask, but I thought I would try anyways...

Thanks

I have heard of some people making cold air intakes for the 3.8, it would make sense as the stock filter doesn't look like it flows that well. I have even seen people make their own, using a generic K&N, and something silly like a child's plastic sand pail and a piece of plexiglas (seriously). Or you could drop a turbo engine from a GNX on in

Not really a power upgrade, but I think one of the higher end models came with a factory strut tower brace, which would make the car handle a bit better. Also, if your car clunks when you go around a corner, make sure the sway bar is still attached, My old Buick's sway bar bolts rusted off and the sway bar wasnt connected, so it handled crappy.

Yeah, I just put a new sway bar link kit in it. I was thinking about a home-made cold air intake using either pvc tubing or exhuast pieces painted to match everything else under the hood... It's kind of hard to get anything up by the grill or front valance, though. There is a lot in the way...
