Hey guys I haven’t chimed in in a minute hope everyone’s off to a good start in 2022 with their lives and projects…

I’m doing a two tone Blazer and wanted to see if anyone could help with the hole spacing location on upper and lower moldings with any diagrams/measurements. they could text to me
Thank you in advance…

Re: Upper trim & lower trim holes

I don't think blazers ever came with upper trim, but it has been done. I am in the process of adding upper and lower trim to a long bed truck now. I had all the trim before i drilled holes so i could check how it was going to lay out. i did have some cabs and doors with trim holes to measure from. The upper trim holes on mine are 13 1/2 inches up from body line. and the lower trim you would set the top of the trim pieces just about a 1/4 below the body line.

Re: Upper trim & lower trim holes

Ray check out this thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=221881. Some two-tone Blazers have sold on Bring A Trailer that can serve as references for upper trim placement along the bedsides. A frequent mistake I see with upper bed trim added to pickups is a parallel position relative to the bed rail, which aligns the rear end of the trim too far above the reverse lamp/rear tail lamp trim.
