removed stock floor mounted gas pedal now I have a hole

so my like new carpet had a hole there the floor mounted gad pedal was, which I just replaced with a Lokar firewall mounted one (the linkage just wasn't going to work with the new engine). Do they make some kind of heal pad or something that would cover the hole up, I don't really want to replace my like entire carpet...

I don't know of any myself, but you could always use a small floor mat that would cover that area and add extra protection to the carpet.

Contact the carpet suppliers and ask for a swatch in the color that you’re looking for. They will most likely send it for free and hopefully you can patch the hole with it.

If push comes to shove, remove the carpet and take it to an upholstery shop. Get them to sew in a reinforcement "heel pad" over the hole.

This is exactly what my first choice would be.
