Garage flooring
We're getting ready to move into a newly-built house with a 4-car garage, but my '72 GMC 2500 is a tad drippy, so I'm looking at getting floor protection. I guess polyaspartic coating is the Cadillac of floor covering, but it's too rich for my blood. Same for epoxy. I was looking at maybe diamond rubber tiles or vinyl flooring rolls, but all the sites online have different opinions.

I have had modutile (based in Houston) liked it under my Ford Focus RS, but my 87 Suburban just eats it. I am getting a quote for the poly coating from Texashield tomorrow.

Pieces of old carpet. Replace when too oil soaked. At least while you are figuring out the best layout for stuff in the garage. Or large flat pieces of cardboard.

I don’t remember the brand name but I have seen them at summit. They have garage mats that are like weather tech mats to catch and contain liquids easily. They come in a couple sizes from under the engine only to full garage spot. If I remember the name I will post it here.

Garage grip makes the large full bay size for about $350-400 or weather tech makes a 4x4 size piece for around $75

Something like this, I have one under my camaro to keep the leaking trans off the floor. Throw a few oil absorbent mats in there to keep it from being too messy and good to go.
