Disc brake dust shields
Was wondering if anyone is running aftermarket dust shields, I'm running semi metalic pads and the cause brake dust. I remember buying a set fr Big Orange my 71 suburban but that company went out of business. So does anyone have any input in this.
Thanks

Re: Disc brake dust shields
I'm running dust shields that I bought from Performance Online. The pads that came with the disc conversion kit I also got from them produced a ton of dust, and the dust shields didn't keep the dust off my rims. I ended up switching to ACDelco 17D52CHF1 ceramic pads and the dust is significantly reduced.

Re: Disc brake dust shields
Thank you pj that's a good site. I'm wanting the dust shields that you can run between yr rotors and wheels.

Interesting. I didn't know that was a thing. Do they sandwich in between the hub and the rim, and spin with the wheel?
