Re: rebuilding 74 fuel selectors valves

I thought I should give a quick update here. I ended up pulling my selector valves and they were slightly leaking. I believe a bead of fuel resistant sealer is going to be required in addition (or instead of) the lid gasket. I will probably still use the gasket and add sealer. For the time being, with gas at well over $5/gal here, I'm just going to use the one tank. If gas ever goes down, I'll put it back up on the rack and reinstall it. For now, I'm tired of restoring stuff, so I'm just going to enjoy driving the truck 5 miles at a time. Stupid gas prices....
