1967 Radiator Support
Looking to replace the rad support on my 1967 C10. My question is how much needs to come apart to change it? It looks like you can donut without taking the fenders off. But I wanted to ask so I know exactly what I’m looking at before I tackle it.

Re: 1967 Radiator Support
Not too sure of the 67 vs 72 rad support differences. Mine has three bolts on the underside of the rad support connecting to the inner fender front flange. it also has an upper fender mount that has two bolts connecting the fender to the rad support. Finally, there are two cushioned rad support mounts that mount it to the frame (similar to the cab mounts). All of these were a pain to remove on my truck. Finally, I'm not sure that once everything is undone, and the rad removed (maybe the fan as well) that there is enough room to wiggle the rad support up and out of the way. The rad support seems to be wider than the upper fender flange - this might make it difficult to slide it up and out. Maybe if everything was loose - might give you enough slack. Might come up on an angle.

Re: 1967 Radiator Support
It all has to come apart to change the "core" support ,it won't wiggle out or drop in . The radiator , inner fender wells , front splash pan ,grille, wiring , core support mounts , etc , etc are the lower front of the inner fender wells rusted ?

Re: 1967 Radiator Support
Yeah it’s rusted out. I kind of figured it would be a lot of work. Not really that bad but it’s all the rusty fasteners that will make it a lot more difficult, of course.

Re: 1967 Radiator Support
use a broom stick or something to that effect to prop the hood open while you have it apart , All that weight (the hood, fenders) hanging loose could possibly tweak your fender to door gaps , Do you have the correct 67 core support mounts ? Have fun !
If you pull the headlights out it's easier to reach in and get the top bolts off the inside of the grill to fender.

Re: 1967 Radiator Support
It will need to come apart, no real easy way to do it.
I would suggest KeyParts if you replace it with aftermarket. They have the best ones I have found.
