1968 GMC Golden Anniversary
So, a friend was telling me about a truck he found hidden behind a wall of Kudzu in the North Georgia mountains. All he could see from the road was what looked like an old GMC covered with vines.
He turned around and found a house next to the field where the truck sat. An elderly man came to the door. He said it wasn't for sale and he was going to fix it up one day. He said he didn't know what year it was but he said it was a Golden Anniversary truck. They walked to the fence and it was Gold with white trim and interior. The problem was it is a 1968 GMC shortbed and the SPiD is gone. What do you think? Prolly just a repaint years ago.

Re: 1968 GMC Golden Anniversary
I've never seen one. ButI have been wrong so many times. I also know that GMC is older than Chevrolet. Here is a page off the web.

Re: 1968 GMC Golden Anniversary
Not a 50th anniversary '68 GMC. '68 was Chevy's 50th anniversary, not GMC's.

Re: 1968 GMC Golden Anniversary
We can pretend it was if you want. Maybe it was wrecked at some point and a GMC clip was swapped on it(?) Who knows ..
But it will likely rot to the ground. I hate that man. Remember that 69 RS Z28 we found in Hixson years ago the guy was going to make a dirt track car out of it(?) Made me sick to my stomach.
