what cfm?

I was thinking of switching over to an electric fan and have read everything under the sun about cfms on them running from like 750 to a little over 2,000. Anybody know what the cfm on a stock fan was to begin with? I don't want to over-heat the motor, but I also don't want to spend a fortune on a fan that's waaaay more than I need. It's a '67 327 with manual trans and NO a/c if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for any help.
