Hello to Everyone. Glad to be here!
This is my first C10, had a 1954 Chevy 3100 prior to this build. Hoping to learn a lot and help out when I can. |

Re: New Member from New Jersey
Thanks, here are a couple of before and after pictures:
- I compounded and polished the whole truck - the paint came back nice - The rockers, doors, fenders etc were all solid - nothing to do there - I sanded down the wood bed and the metal strips - Painted the wood a high gloss black and use a marine poly clear coat - Painted the metal strips - Replaced the old tires with Cooper Discoverer AT3s - Replaced the fuel tank, fuel line, fuel pump and carburator - Replaced the distributor with a HEI and replaced the brake lines and pads - Lastly, I had a local speed shop install the Hurst shifter - removed the column Worked on it over the winter in the garage, took 4 months. |
