Anyone Running 5" Wide Front Wheels?
I'm building my 66 for street/strip duty and looking at 5" front wheels. What backspace are you guys running and with which spindles? I'll be running a Wilwood aluminum Pro Spindle that sets the hub out .41". Thanks!

IIRC the stock 15" wheel is 5" wide.

Re: Anyone Running 5" Wide Front Wheels?
Up through most or all of '64 the stock 15" wheels are 5", then 5.5" after that.
I have CPP drop spindles and stock 5.5" wheels (3.75" BS) on the front of my '66, with 1.5" spacers to clear the calipers and push them out closer to the fenders. The backspacing is effectively 2.25" It's dropped about 4.5" and clears the fender with 215/75 tires.

Re: Anyone Running 5" Wide Front Wheels?
Just the normal drop spindle with cast-in caliper mounts, not the Modular version.
