Widest wheel on stock a arms

Hey guys, I'm just curious what is the widest wheel/tire combo you can get on the stock a arms. I'm wanting to go with a 20x12 with 295/30/zr20. I would rather not switch a arms right now if possible, I just cupped the stocks for the airbags

Physically, you can fit a 12" wide wheel on stock arms but you'll have clearance issues.

You can set the back-spacing/offset so they only have minimal interference concern w/the arms but they're going to extend well past the body. Try to tuck them within the body & they'll make contact w/the a-arm or frame @ some point in the turning radius.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I fit 19x12's on a 66 if that helps any. I had to trim the control rib near the ball joint to get some turning radius back though. Post #324 in the thread
