Just installed dual fans and a fan shroud. Wired the fans to run on low speed/ high speed based on a BMW temperature switch. Mounted the relays for the fans and clutch safety switch in a waterproof relay box off of Amazon.

Great work on the truck, read the entire build thread and really like how it all came together and choices made. Again great job!
Was there any modification needed to make the motor work with the manual transmission?

Nope. Just make sure you have a matching clutch/flywheel combination. Everything bolted in fine. Since this is a one-piece rear seal motor, the correct flywheel is needed.

Recent update to the project. Re-sealed a junkyard pulled 2005 LQ4 6.0 LS, added a mid-80's bell housing and hydraulic clutch. Ended up having to widen the original crossmember to clear. Best upgrade so far...
