adjust door?
My passenger side door closes hard. I noticed the latch is cutting into the striker. Is there an adjustment for this?
Thanks.

Bad Hinge
You can try to adjust the striker post, but usually the hinges need to be replaced. They are known for wearng out.

Sounds like your hinge pin bushings a worn. With door open, lift up on it to see if they are loose or lift up on door when you close it. If pins are loose it will let the door drop. Easy fix-change pins and bushings.
