Cab floorboard paint
I am going to do some work on the 72 soon and the cab floor is in pretty good shape and only lightly rusted. I would like to piant and would like to know what you guys have used. I have some ERF (End Rust Forever) black paint from JC Whitney and it basically POR-15. Suggestions?

I used (the good 3M) Rubberized undercoating to paint the floor when I got mine back together. Of course, I still laid a mat over it, but the (thick) coat of rubber under it has helped deaden the sound. I didn't use any other underlayment.

I will agree when you cut out the bad floor and replace it make sure you prep it with zinc cromate+primer then scratch pad the whole floor area to be done and seam seal any patches then undercoat (rubberized+paintable)type.
Then you can paint whatever coulor you like.I did this to my 67 chev because it helps deaden sound and it helps from any moisture getting at the metal like wet shoes ect.Its easy to use inexpensive and durable.Great for everyday drivers.Good luck hope it helps.
