67 door handles are a one year only. Otherwise, the door shells will swap over just fine. The window regulators and interior door handle mechanisms have longer rods that the cranks and door levers attach too for 72, maybe 71 (the years with the plastic interior door panels). So, you need to use the right window regulator and door mechanism with the interior panels you are using.

MY '71 had the steel door panels covered in vinyl, and the shorter shafts on the controls, just like MY '68 on.

To answer the OP's question -- Yes '70 doors would fit and function fine in a '72 cab. It would just resemble a MY '70.
