Interior painting/replacing of parts
Well i'm going to have my interior painted finally to match the outside of my truck. I need new carpet but am unsure of how it'll fit and how far up it runs up the firewall. I've god heat shielding already on part of the floor and it works pretty well. Anyone out there have suggestions for where to get the carpet kit from?
Also i wondered if anyone knows of any different style vents/vent balls than the stock ones? mine are all yellowed and i thought i saw some on a post a while ago that said they flowed better. Thanks for the help, Greg

I just finshed the interior of my 69 GMC last week. Got most of the stuff from Brothers, But I would try GMC Pauls or Wes they are on this board. Heres a shot of my interior

$15 dollar special
The guy that had my 72 before me defiled the interior with 70's style lime green shag carpet. I ripped it out and burned it, then went to our local hardware super store and bought a 6 x 8 piece of their black auto carpet for 15 bucks. I cleaned out the 30 year old dirt, layed out the carpet, cut it in and put the seat and door sills back in. Sorry I don't have picks, but it looks pretty good!
