need an answer*&^%++#@

I had a post about 16 1/2" steel rims looking for beaty rings chrome or stainless. All that I seem to find are 16" rings .The truck came Fact. with 16 1/2" rims 8 Lugs. I have the stainless center hub caps in great condition. anyone ever had ,or know were to get rings for the 16 1/2" steel rims? Need help . I've checked LMC . JC Whitney, and many others.Wonder if 16" rings would fit with a little bending of the tabs? they would probably come off. any help would be great.

I doubt if they make them for 16.5. the ring would have to fit a tapered bead, which would make it hard to keep on. John

I've always been told that the 16 inch ring would hole, but I have yet to do it myself.
I think Wes had some on one of his many trucks...I remember a pic, it was red or orange.
You would be way ahead if you just got 16 inch rims for your truck, if you look at the tire prices and avalibility between the 16 inch verses the 16.5's...you'll see whatr I am talking about.

the tires were almost new on the truck when I got it. they arent even broken in yet. just trying to dress the wheels up with less cost.
