Just to add to this, if it is a 4l60e or 4l80e the new gear ratio must be changed this affects your shifting. Like LS said you can also tweak the shifts a little too. HP tuners has made it pretty easy they have a menu to just change the gear ratio or tire height and it does the calculations and changes for you. Yes it is 100 bucks to get into the tune even for this.
Hopefully BP would do this at no charge however they need your ECU so you are down during the shipping time etc. Dave
