Re: Suburban and panel finds

70 GMC $13,500. Not mine. An unusual combination of 2wd with 3 row seats and barn doors. Oh and the 340ci mill. It also appears to have a fairly intact headliner.

Up for sale is a nice 1970 GMC suburban original interior and exterior has a 340/turbo 350. Runs and drives great has new tires. View pictures for rocker rust is mostly solid. Great condition for its age two wheel drive suburban. Radio and all lights and wipers work. Asking $13,500. Have the original tittle since new in hand. Will not reply to Emails or text calls only.

What’s unusual about that combination? I’m asking because mine is a 71 2wd with barn doors. The second seat is missing and I’m not sure if it had the third row seat. Would the third seat be an option listed on this spid?

I find that for the most part barn doors come on K models and 3 row seats aren't the most common seat arrangement. It could be that most of the 3 row, barn door, half tons, got used as crummies and didn't survive. The unusual comment was in reference to what I see out there today with unrestored rigs.

The 3rd row was an extra cost option that would be on the SPID if it left the factory with them installed.

I know I looked at the spid once before but I’ll have to look it over again closer.
