58 Viking brakes
I have a 1958 Viking with the original frame mounted drum drakes with single master cylinder and remote hydro-vac brake booster. It’s tough and expensive to find and buy parts to keep it original. I don’t know the difference between boosters, but it doesn’t seem different.
Can I use a newer frame mounted power brake booster and dual master and keep it drums? |

Re: 58 Viking brakes
If you replace the master and booster you want to be sure it has enough volume to handle the large brake system, that's about as much as I know on that subject. Rock auto has a return and rebuild service for the booster, part number is 518028. It costs $237.79 plus freight when I looked today. They have the master cylinder, part number is 35571008 and it's $90.79.
