Re: Starting a 52 Chevy 3100 Project.
Ran into issues with the AC. Not really cooling all that great. I ended up putting a pusher fan on which seems to have helped. I may take it to a different shop as the first place I took it to doesn't really seem to know what they are doing. I have taken it back about 5-6 times now. I think its possible that it has a bad high pressure switch. I have lost faith in having this shop work on it. Its not that I have high standards but several bolts weren't even tightened under the hood and also the steering wheel was loose from when he swapped out the cruise control lever from the one I installed cause it was bad. I did do a few thing over the past few weeks. Put new AC vents in. Fixed and organized wiring under the dash(shop left it a mess). Replaced the LED flasher lights on the dash, shortened the glove box, tinted windows, added an air horn(really loud), put a hidden receiver hitch on it. Also hit a 1000 miles on the odometer this week.
