I've pulled the governor out of my 700R4 eight times so far over the last two evenings in an attempt to raise the WOT 1-2 shift point to somewhere in the 5000-5500RPM range using a TCI kit. The two heaviest weights in the kit with the two heaviest springs were still above 5500RPM, and the 2-3 shift at part throttle was happening way too early, so I resorted to grinding down the original weights. How come you have Blue plates, rather than the Black/Gold ones?
Old 919 used to sport Black/Gold plates when I bought it. The military made me register my truck and get a driver's license in the state that was my Home of Record. My parents had moved to Arizona, so that was the new ''Home.''
I had to turn in my Calif. [10 566 A] and get an AZ plate [2JY150] at the MVD [not DMV].
