Not a Corvette one, but '68 trucks did have a fairly rare 327. Large journal steel crank 327

I still have the ammo box I carried spare snow plow parts & gear in the bed of a '71 K/20. My Gerry can situation has dwindled away. I have nada. Used to have a bunch of ammo boxes, too.
Don't let that short block get away. Most likely an 010 casting with steel crank. A great base for a build. That's what I have with 64cc heads. By the time I use it I'll open it back up (rebuilt in '07). Probably do aluminum heads, maybe Vortec, maybe different cam. I had a TH400 for it when it was built, now M22.

I wouldn’t sell the motor . I’ll eventually rebuild it with some nice speed parts . But for now I’m looking far a good running engine .
