WTB - Small Block Exhaust Stud for Lower AC Bracket

I still don't have my engine back from the machine shop so I've had lots of time to organize my stuff. After the new engine is done I want to complete my AC conversion. I'm using all stock stuff.

When I hold the lower AC bracket up to the exhaust manifold it bolts to I notice there is a gap between the bracket and one of the two mounting holes. Looking at the LMC book it looks like a bolt/stud goes in there.

Does anybody have an extra one laying around they want to sell me?

Or should I just fab one out of threaded rod?

I may have one, but what page of which LMC catalogue are you referring to? Or better yet, do they list a part number? I parted out a 70 during the winter, but kept most of the A/C parts (mounting and mechanical) hoping to retain what I need to get my A/C running. I sold one of the bracket pieces (upper) but probably have most everything else. I kept the X manifolds to, but think that I removed most everything from them that I could.

I don't have the catalog in front of me but I did look at it last night.
The stud/bolt I need is "grayed" out and not available. If you look at the picture you'll see on of the two holes has a regular bolt, the other has a stud on the end of the bolt.

I have the "2004 Summer Edition" of the LMC catalog in front of me. CB.37.

The bolt/stud I need is pictured on page 124 in the
"A/C Compressor Mounting"
"307 CID 327 CID 350 CID Engines 1968-72"
exploded diagram.

Just to the right of number 19 you see a lighter gray stud/bolt.

Does anybody have an extra he or she could sell me?

I tried to track one down when I put my A/C back together and had no luck. I went to Caterpilar and bought a 4 inch long grade 8 stud and and 2 grade 8 nuts. Screw in the stud, tighten the nut, install the bracket and compressor. You will never be able to see that it isn't the correct bolt and it is a strong as the original bolt.

I kind of figured that that is what I'd have to do.

It is just always easier to buy the perfect piece verses attempting to make one.
