3 speed shifting issues
I have a 69 with 3 on the tree. It will shift into 3rd and 4th gear with no problem but won’t shift into reverse or 1st gear. Reverse and 1st gear work when moving the linkage by hand though. I’ve lubricated the linkage and changed the bushings so far. My next step is to try adjusting the linkage. Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Re: 3 speed shifting issues
Check and change the bushings/ sleeves before attempting to re adjust , the old bushings are probably just sloppy .
