Re: Flyfishing + burnout
Sounds amazing! Awesome video and pic too.
I read the subject and thought of burnout (as in need of a break)…

Re: Flyfishing + burnout
One of the best videos I've watched in a while. And enjoying that fine truck other than setting it at a show is what it's all about in my eyes.

Always has amazing photos. Enjoyed the Snowest forum with the winter pics years ago but I'm not much into sledding anymore. Great video!

Re: Flyfishing + burnout
Thanks all. Since moving into the city this year, I've put a lot of miles enjoying it, vs when I lived in the country the last 4 years. Soon, the snow will be falling and I'll just have to look at it in the garage. So, every drive right now is a sweet one.
Btw, the 700r4 is working well. In the video, it shifted into 2nd quickly, then into 3rd bogging the rpm down. I think I'll leave the column position in 2nd gear next burn out to keep the rpms up a bit and avoiding 3rd gear. |

Re: Flyfishing + burnout
Looks like you guys had a blast! The camera work and underwater shots were over the top! The burnout was impressive! I was thinking LS motor until I read the caption, very impressive build, especially with the period correct 402 BBC! Well done! Here's my 72 C/10 with a 69 L34 396/350TH 373 12-bolt posi, open Hedman long tubes...Nasty Sally "Heatin the Hides!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jXx...VEXyeB&index=1 That was a 3rd gear rip, they only gave us 30 seconds to try and blow em off the rims...
