Arrow 86 Chev full time 4x4 suburban

I have a 68 GMC 910 on a 86 chev chassey that is full time 4x4 with a 4H, neutral and 4L transfer case. Can i put manual locking hubs inplace of the full locked ones. I was told i couldnt because of spider gears in the transfer case.

That will explain what you have an what it takes to make it part time. It will also tell you that unless your running a fornt locker that your probably better off leaving it alone.
