1965 c10 alternator numbers.

Hello
I was wondering what the “correct” GM number stamped on alternator that would go to a v8 c10 in 1965 with factory ac. Does It have a special pulley on it for ac?
Thanks
Pete

Re: 1965 c10 alternator numbers.

Glad I read this thread. I was thinking that even my 69 had a generator from the factory, but it was a 10DN alternator with external regulator. I replaced it with a 10SI in the mid-1990s.

I see where you can still buy a 10DN and external regulator.

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.
