Radiator to Support gap - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I purchased a nice 4 core and electric shroud from Champion. I like the fit and finish. There is a small normal and acceptable gap between the radiator and the support. Though not likely necessary, relative to performance, I would like to finish off the gap with a surround of rubber or foam. Has anyone been down this road and found an acceptable solution?

I used a roll of stick on weather stripping. The kind used to seal doors in the house.

That was my first thought. Any issue with the adhesive getting gummy or drying out.?

The stuff fit in the gap pretty tight. The adhesive was useful to stick it where it needed to go so I could get the radiator up against it and bolted down. Now it's just a compression fit. Not sure if the sticky is still sticky and it doesn't appear to be oozing out.
